1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AV500.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

AV500.io provides free and Pro audiovisual design tools, software reviews, a jobs board, and a talent directory for AV professionals. Tools include calculators for speaker impedance, room acoustics, BTU/power, IP addressing, video walls, conduit fill, bandwidth, display resolutions, and 100V line systems.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may sign in with email/password, Google, or Microsoft.
• One account per person. Shared or automated accounts are not permitted.

4. Free and Pro Tiers

• Free accounts have access to all calculators.
• Pro accounts unlock branded PDF export, additional job posts, and priority visibility.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.
• Post misleading, abusive, or spam content in reviews, job listings, or profiles.
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the platform.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the platform.

6. Calculator Results Disclaimer

AV500.io tools and calculators are provided for reference and estimation purposes only. Results should be verified by a qualified professional before use in any installation or design. AV500 is not liable for errors in calculations or any damages resulting from reliance on tool outputs.

7. Jobs Board and Talent Directory

• Job listings must be genuine and relevant to the AV industry.
• AV500 does not verify employers or candidates and is not a party to any employment agreement.
• We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The AV500.io platform, design, code, and content are owned by AV500. You retain ownership of any content you submit (reviews, profile information, job listings). By submitting content, you grant AV500 a licence to display it on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

AV500.io is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AV500 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of AV500.io after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
