How to Use

Placing devices and shelves:

  1. Use the Rack Mount tab and fill in the details
  2. Click "Place in Rack" ā€” a green/red preview will follow your cursor
  3. Click a valid position in the rack to place the item
  4. Press Escape or click Cancel to abort placement

Adding loose items:

  1. Place a shelf in the rack first
  2. Switch to the Loose tab, enter the item name and width
  3. Select the target shelf and click "Add to Shelf"
  4. Items auto-snap to the first available horizontal slot

Rearranging and deleting:

  • Click and drag items in the rack to move them to a new RU position
  • Hover over an item in the rack to reveal the delete button
  • You can also delete items from the item list on the left

Multi-rack projects (Pro):

  • Click "+ Add Rack" to add additional racks to your project
  • Assign room names to organize racks by location
  • Use "Export All" to generate a unified PDF with all racks
  • Cloud save preserves all racks in a single project

Tip: Standard 19" racks come in common sizes like 42U and 44U for floor-standing, or 8Uā€“25U for wall-mount. RU 1 is always at the bottom of the rack, following industry convention.
